Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
PYO helps you identify clothing in photos, find products, save looks, and shop. This policy explains how the PYO team handles information through our website and mobile app. Contact us at team@wepyo.co with privacy questions or requests.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, email verification status, and profile picture when available. We store account and authentication information, including session records and provider tokens needed to operate sign-in. Session records can include your IP address, browser or device information, and expiry time.
When you scan a look, we process the photo you submit, clothing crops, search queries, and the resulting product matches. When you use account features, we store information you provide, such as style preferences, saved looks, wardrobe items, and shopping interactions. If you provide delivery details, we process your name, email, telephone number, and shipping address. Checkout also involves cart, quote, order, and payment status information.
Hosting and application logs may contain technical request information, timestamps, and errors used to keep the service working and investigate misuse. Browser or device storage can retain your session, bag, preferences, and other app state.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, operate your account, analyze outfit photos, find products, personalize your experience, save your activity, and support checkout. We also use it to troubleshoot problems, protect accounts, respond to requests, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Google account information
PYO requests only the basic Google sign-in scopes: email, profile, and OpenID. These scopes do not give PYO access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendar. We use Google account information for sign-in and account features, not for advertising or training AI models. We do not sell Google account information. PYO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Service providers and shopping partners
We use Vercel for hosting and Neon for database services. Photos and clothing crops may be sent to Google Gemini for image analysis and to SerpApi for visual search, depending on the feature used. Product searches may also be processed by Channel3 and Henry Labs. These providers process the information needed to deliver their services and may retain it under their own terms and privacy policies. Do not upload confidential photos or images you do not have permission to share.
When you use integrated checkout, Henry Labs and the relevant merchants receive the information needed to quote, pay for, and fulfill your order, including delivery and contact details. Card entry takes place through Henry Labs' secure payment component; PYO receives a payment token rather than your full card number or security code. External retailer sites handle information under their own privacy policies.
Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or carry out a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. Our service providers may process information outside your country.
Storage, retention, and security
We retain account and saved feature data while it is needed to provide the service, and may retain limited records for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Scan images are processed to produce results; copies or derived information may remain in device storage, saved content, or service provider systems. Retention by external providers follows their policies. We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose which photos and details to submit, edit information where the app offers that option, remove saved looks, sign out, and clear browser or device storage. You can revoke PYO's Google access from your Google Account connections. Revoking access does not automatically delete information already stored by PYO.
Email team@wepyo.co to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account and associated personal information. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Available rights and any required exceptions depend on applicable law; records needed for legal obligations or unresolved transactions may need to be retained.
Children and policy updates
PYO is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We will publish updates here with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required.
